Getting Started
Everything you need to set up PesaNet and send your first transfer — usually under five minutes.
1. Create your account
Download PesaNet, enter your phone number, and verify it with the one-time code we text you. You’ll set a 4-digit PIN and can turn on fingerprint or face unlock for faster, secure sign-in. To send money, you’ll complete a quick identity check (your name, date of birth, and a photo of your ID) — this keeps everyone on the network safe and is required by law for money services.
2. Add money to your wallet
Open your wallet and tap Add Money. You can top up with a debit or credit card, or by linking your bank account. Any top-up fee is shown before you confirm. Your balance updates as soon as the top-up clears, and you’ll get a receipt by email and in the app.
3. Send money
Tap Transfer, choose a recipient, and enter the amount. To send to family abroad, choose “Transfer externally” and pick the destination and payout method — funds are delivered to a mobile-money wallet on the other side. You’ll always see the exact amount, the fee, and the exchange rate before you confirm, so there are no surprises.
4. Stay secure
PesaNet locks with your PIN or biometrics every time you open it. Never share your PIN or one-time codes — PesaNet staff will never ask for them. You can review trusted devices, change your PIN, and manage notifications any time from Profile → Security.
